Toussus-Le-Noble is located in the west of Paris,
South of Versailles and Buc. To get there, please take the N118 from the
Pont de Sèvres (direction Chartres-Orléans). After 15 km,
take the exit Saclay and follow the signs for Toussus. This field
managed by Aéroports de Paris is nearly already in the
countryside....! It is very nice to have lunch there in the open air, on
the terrace of any of the two restaurants thus enjoying the show of the
evolving planes! Several aero-clubs and companies are to be found on the
place, and you will also be able to do some shopping at the "Boutique
du Pilote"! |

Toussus is a controlled
IFR field, equipped with two 1100 metres long concrete
runways, not weather limited and therefore not
restricted in their use. Both runways are lightened
for night flying. The importance of the traffic
and the relevant services (ATIS, Control, Ground...) will help you to
become quickly familiar with the aeronautical environment and will
help you to acquire an extensive training. The weather
station on the field enables you to get easily
some information, and to get a training for this very comprehensive
discipline. |
