| Learning | Travelling | Improving your skills |
You would like to learn to fly or improve your skills ... But how to make a choice ? And how to choose a club ? Some criteria are important and the following questions should be asked :
| About the Field | About the planes | About the teaching | About the service | About the activities |
| Is there at least one concrete rainway? | Are there several planes of the same type? | How many instructors are there? | Do you have to tow the aircraft yourself? | Can you take a first flightbefore becoming a full member? |
| Is there a lot of traffic? | Do all the planes belong to the club? | Is their method proven? | Are special requests met? | Are there trips or travels organized? |
| Is the airfield controlled? | Is the fleet of planes big enough for the evolution of my progression? | Can the teaching given allow a constant progression? | Who does the servicing (fuel, oil)? | Is there any mountain or night flying training available? |
| Is there a runway lighted for night flying? | Shall I easily have a plane for a trip or a travel? | Is it easy to have an appointment during the week or the week-end? | Can I improve my IFR skills? | |
| Is there a weather station? | Are the planes in good repair and well maintained? | |||
| Are the planes professionally maintained? |
